Stephen Adams is the Principal Petrophysicist and founder of both
WellEval.com and its parent company Petrophysical Solutionz Limited.
Brief Outline of Qualifications & Experience
Steve gained a Master of Science degree with First Class Honours in
Physics from the University of Auckland in 1986. He has since been
trained in Petrophysics by Shell International. This training is widely
recognised as the most comprehensive in the oil and gas industry.
Stephen has worked on projects in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the
Middle East and Southeast Asia. He has been exposed to formation
evaluation problems from North America and Africa.
Steve has excellent petrophysical skills and had experience with
reservoir monitoring and integrated petroleum engineering studies. He
is particularly conversant with the uses and limitations of core
analyses. He has worked extensively in multi-discipline teams, being
trained in other petroleum engineering disciplines to facilitate
understanding.
Stephen is a dynamic, personable individual with proven communication
skills. He enjoys solving problems, having an inventive mind when
formulating solutions. He has a record of making valuable contributions
