Off-Site Advice
Specialist Petrophysical skills are in short supply in the oil
industry. Sometimes you have a few questions you'd like answered, are
seeking guidance or would like a second opinion. In such cases, there
is no longer any requirement to bring in an expensive and "hard-to-get"
consultant to help.
Have your questions answered in a timely and cost effective manner by using our Advisor service. Our Principal Petrophysicist
can be contacted via telephone or email when you need questions
answered. He can help you put together a SCAL program, debug your log
analyses or just check your thinking! It's adding expert Petrophysical
skills to your own, without the high cost!
The service can function in two ways, although we recommend the first,
both for cost control reasons and because staff are more likely to
utilise a service which has already been paid for.
Option 1
Companies purchase pre-arranged advisor time for each month at an
agreed hourly rate. They advise their Petrophysics personnel of the
availability of the service. We can be contacted via email or telephone
on an as required basis up to the pre-arranged limit.
Option 2
Companies contact us to arrange for provision of Advice for a fixed
term. They advise their Petrophysics personnel of the availability of
the service. We can be contacted via email or telephone on an as
required basis. At the completion of the agreed Term or after each
calendar month, the company will be billed for time used at the agreed
day rate.
Off-Site Mentoring
The current shortage of Technical Professionals in the Oil & Gas
Sector has resulted in young and/or inexperienced technical personnel
being placed into roles for which they are ill-prepared. Our Mentoring
service can help your inexperienced staff reach the required competence
levels while on-the-job.
Our Principal Petrophysicist
has had a lot of experience mentoring staff in Petrophysics. Many of
these people have gone on to become specialist Petrophysicists in their
own right.
Since the industry faces a shortage of competent Petrophysics
personnel, we are offering an "Off-Site Mentoring" service to assist
inexperienced personnel to become Petrophysicists. The service can
function in two ways, although we recommend the first, both for cost
control reasons and because staff are more likely to utilise a service
which has already been paid for.

agreed hourly rate. They advise their Petrophysics personnel of the
availability of a Mentor. We can be contacted via email or telephone on
